JbJayda Sweetcakes began in early 2020 - what started as a simple baking hobby soon blossomed into a heartfelt family business. Founded by Theresa N. Nicart, a devoted mother of two (JB and Jayda), the business was born out of her passion for baking, love for art, and deep dedication to family.
When the pandemic struck, like many others, Theresa sought comfort in her kitchen. Baking became her escape - a way to bring warmth and sweetness into uncertain days. With each cake she made, her family saw something more than just desserts; they saw talent, heart, and potential. Encouraged by her husband, kids, and close friends, Theresa took a leap of faith and turned her passion into something greater.
From a small husband-and-wife operation at home, JbJayda Sweetcakes has grown into a five-person team crafting over 25 custom cakes each week, each one made with the same love and care that started it all.
Today, every creation tells a story - of family, resilience, and the belief that even in the hardest times, something beautiful can rise.
